Both as a builder of concrete silos and as a millwright company, Agri-Systems has been able to work on coal fired power plant projects. Agri-Systems is capable of design and construction of each type of coal storage systems, conveying systems, and crushing. Additionally, the Agri-Systems team has been involved in installation and relocations of entire power plants.
A recent coal fired power plant project included demolition and reinstallation of a 28 megawatt coal fired power plant. This plant involved the dismantling of a stoker type boiler as well as the building and turbine/generator. The plant was then retrofitted with new environmental controls, new coal storage and a new coal injection system to the boiler.
