Agri-Systems has assisted with numerous types of corn processing plants. In the recent past, a new form of corn processing plant has become utilized. These plants utilize an existing technology of steam flaking corn, but take it to a much higher and more efficient capacity.
The following recently completed project involved these corn flaking systems. This plant possesses the ability to process corn at very high capacities (3 large flaking mills). The plant also boasts the ability to receive corn via shuttle train system, receiving 110 cars well within the mandated 15 hour time slot. The entire facility, both the processing area (interior floors, cleaning, weighing, etc) and the 1.5 million bushels of corn storage was constructed of slip form concrete.
